I realy feel bad for the guy,he played great ,He took a beating and got up and came back for more.It Would have been a great superbowl match up,old buck vs young stud.

I don't think he played great. He did take a beating though. I was pretty disappointed at ALL the turnovers. The front line failed to protect their quarterback, resulting in incompletions/interceptions. Adrian Peterson couldn't hold on to the ball. We are a better team than what was witnessed yesterday.

correct. And I bet he returns for yet another season with the vikes.

Phuck Favre ... maybe now he's done... so we don't have to hear about the whining ... there was more on that team than Favre
Blah, Blah, Blah. I hope the Bears have had a nice vacation.

Bears Suck.

Favre, he has been in the NFC Championship Game...last 2 of 3 years. Can any other quarterback in the LEAGUE say that.

I love the Favre haters.
I have friends that were having heart attacks that Favre was one play away from the Super Bowl. LMAO at all of them.

Favre has more balls than all cheeseheads in fudgepackerland.

If he's smart, he will. And the Vikings will embrace him. They can win with Favre. They are 3 players away from being the best in the league, period.

Farve has a propensity to throw blindly at times which is why he has so many interceptions. Regarding his 4th Quarter interception, if he had only ran with the ball and tried to pick up another 5-10 yards he would have given the Vikings a chance to win with a field goal in regulation. But again, he went for the first down and paid the price. I would have called either a draw, screen play, or quick pass in order to try to pickup another at least 5-10 yards. If it was going to be a pass, Farve should have threw it to the motion man who was open for at least a 5 yard gain and conceivably could have made a 1st down. Instead, Farve either didn't see the defender or simply misread where he was and made an ill-advised throw.

At any rate, I also think Farve should play again since, in my opinion, he is still on the list of the top 5 best quarterbacks in the league. Actually, I think he threw better this year than he has in recent memory. So if he still has the desire, then he should continue to play.

I hope he returns, I have always been a fan of Brett Favre, he deserves to win another superbowl.

Sometimes you just need to know when to fold them and go home. He's a great quarterback but I think his time has come to an end. He just needs to go back to Hattiesburg, MS and just retire and live life.

I can tell you that many many people around these parts are just plain sick and tired of him and alllllll of the media that goes with him. Good if not the best QB ever? maybe. Will he be remembered as so? probably not. The guy isn't a team player at all and the minute any player goes against what their coach says in a game should be benched. To be honest, coming from Packer land here, the Vikings have a hell of a team and if you put any good vet QB in with that team, they have a chance for the Super Bowl.

It would be very hard to end a career on an interception. I hope to see him return.

Why he's done it the last 3 years .. when will he learn.

Then take him out east so we don't have to hear his whining in the new here.

Blah Blah Blah ... you only made money off him that's all you care about him ... go back to your Packers ... Rogers will be more loved and more loyal.

This says it all LOL ...

How many important games that a great well experienced Field Commander should have been the star not the reason for the loss. The difference between a solid quarterback and a great quarterback ... you don't screw up the big game you are the reason you win the big game.

#9 - NFC Wild-Card Game
Jan. 4, 2003
Nobody thought the Falcons had a shot against Green Bay in this matchup. Not only were the Packers perfect at home, but also Favre boasted a 35-0 career record at Lambeau when the temperate was below freezing. But Micahel Vick outplayed Favre, who finished with two interceptions and a lost fumble in the 27-7 defeat.

#7 - NFC Wild-Card Game
Jan. 9, 2005
After winning both regular season games against Minnesota, Green Bay was heavily favored against the 8-8 Vikings in the their first ever playoff matchup. But Daunte Culpepper had other ideas. The Vikings QB threw four touchdowns without an interception. Favre, meanwhile, threw four interceptions to one touchdown as the Vikings won 31-17.

#5 - NFC Divisional Playoffs
Jan. 20, 2002
It was advertised as a dream matchup -- Kurt Warner vs. Brett Favre -- in a battle of the league's two best quarterbacks. Favre, however, didn't hold up his end of the bargain as he was picked off six times, two of which were returned for touchdowns. The Rams easily defeated the Packers, 45-17, to advance to the conference championship game.

#3 - NFC Divisional Playoffs
Jan. 11, 2004
Favre isn't the only who should accept blame for this loss. The Packers defense let Philadelphia convert a fourth and 26 to set up a game-tying field goal at the end of regulation. But Favre choked in overtime, throwing a ball up for grabs that was intercepted by Brian Dawkins. The Eagles took advantage of the miscue and went on to win the game on a David Akers field goal.

#2 - NFC Championship Game
Jan. 24, 2010
Favre joined the Vikings at age 39 to win a Super Bowl, and as he drove his Vikings down the field late in the fourth quarter of the NFC title game, it seemed like destiny was smiling on the Mississippi native. But on third down from the Saints' 38, Favre attempted a difficult across-the-body throw to Sidney Rice, which Saints cornerback Tracy Porter intercepted to force overtime. The Saints won the coin toss and subsequently the game, much to Favre's chagrin.

#1 - NFC Championship Game
Jan. 20, 2008
Playing at frigid Lambeau Field with a Super Bowl berth on the line, the Packers just needed to get past the underdog Giants to advance to Super Bowl XLII and face the undefeated Patriots. The game went to overtime and the Packers seemed to be in good position when they won the coin toss and elected to receive. But on the second play from scrimmage, Brett Favre's pass to Donald Driver was well short of its target and picked off by Corey Webster, giving the Giants excellent field position. Lawrence Tynes delivered the game-winning field goal and Favre was left pondering his NFL future.

Nice cherry picking mespock.

I like these better.
Favre is the only player to win the AP Most Valuable Player three consecutive times.

He led the Packers to seven division championships.
One division championship for the purple, for a total of eight.
Five NFC Championship Games.

Two Super Bowl appearances, winning one (Super Bowl XXXI).

Most career touchdown passes, most career passing yards, most career pass completions, most consecutive starts, and most career victories as a starting quarterback.

And my favorite 2 stats.....

VS his old team...2-0

All time record vs the Bears...... 23-9

Humm no wonder you can't stand him HE OWNS DA BEARS.

I hope he comes back, just to piss you off. ;)
He had his best season at 40.
What more could you ask for?

Enjoy Cutler........I will.
Good luck seeing the playoffs.
Good luck in the Draft.
Were do the Bears pick again??? Is it 75th :bowrofl:

What a great trade:rolleyes:
