After over a month since my LS got backed into by the girl that came to deliver the pizza we ordered, I finally took some time to sand down my bumper and repaint it. I still need to apply clear coat, want to give it some time to completely dry.

This is from the night it happened,

These are before and after the wet sanding,

And this one is after 2 coats of primer and three of top coat from Automotivetouchup.com, paint code TS.

I will post more after I applu the clear coat,

I hope they matched the paint exactly and not just by the code. and also are you going to remove the paper and try fading into the rest of the bumper? i have a feeling you're going to have a distinct line if you don't. You might have to just paint the entire bumper.

+1. I would definitely say that's going to be your best bet.

Very curious to see how this comes out. Hoping you can buff those tape lines out!

Normally when I do that, I tape off a big enough area to do the blending all at the same time. I tried it once the way you are doing it, and there WILL be a distinct line because there will be a significant paint height difference. Maybe wetsand it down? tape off the low side so you aren't removing the original paint. I don't know. the first time I tried it was on a girlfriend's 96 monte carlo, and was removing rust, so the paint line was worlds better than rust. I never tried to remove the paint line.
