its been roughly 2 weeks since i bought my silverado and finally had time to half ass clean it up this weekend. i havent felt really well this weekend so i could only get into the job so much. i did manage, with my buddies help, to get the interior clean, it all looks really good minus the front seats, there is no helping seats with 275k on them!! they cleaned up alot better but they need to just be replaced which i will eventually do. but today i clay bar'd the whole truck, that was a treat in itself! then i buffed the truck with mquires swirlX and then hand waxed the whole truck with mquires yellow tech wax. i even polished the diamond plate cap on my tailgate lol why i have no idea! the truck looks awesome for such a high mile truck, you'd never know it it really was incredibly well taken care of thats obvious. i'm lovin the truck, next on the list is new tires and a good stereo and new speakers. check it out.

Nice! That truck has more interior room than I thought.

I see a 454 SS the other day... Now I want one!!! Lol.

Looks pretty good for how many miles it's got. Spray some tire shine on the wheel wells, it'll look much better.

martin you dont want a 454 ss those were pile's of shyt! totally gutless terds. unless you do some serious work to them they are dogs. they had them acorn port heads, junk, they only had a crack over 200 hp factory. a cam and a set of worked vortec heads they open right up though!.

Oh yeah, I know they didn't have much peak HP, just plenty of torque. But, having that big displacement is cool for those future upgrades you mentioned! :) Mind, if SS used prices are silly, be better just getting a normal, later 454.

those ss silvy's are bad, my buddy kenny had one, with some slight engine mod's, gears and exhaust and it hauled ass, put you back in the seat hard!
