Here is some before pictures of the 2006 Lincoln LS 3.9 I picked up yesterday for $1100 ...Engine and Transmission is solid ...needs a little work but nothing major mostly EVAP hoses and need to service the electronic parking brake along with a left rear wheel speed sensor but for the price and the way she runs and drives I was really blessed by GOD to have the opportunity to own a 2nd Gen finally!I have a pic of one of the four chrome rims I’ll be putting on ...just a side by side comparison to see the difference from the original alloy aluminum that came with it and the chrome I picked up ...I have some plans for this car...that’s for sure

Odd, they added the plastic shock tower covers from a 1st gen, but lost the plastic engine cover. Anyway, the added covers may be a sign that they did love on it at least a little.

Yeah the young gentleman I purchased the Car from took pretty good car of her ...the plastic EVAP hose you see on the cold air intake is off my 2001 I have to order some vacuum hoses from EBay and also the E-brake isn’t gone it fell through the plastic hole just haven’t pulled it back out yet...need to find out how to correctly take off the center console

For the EPB switch and/or the Traction/AdvanceTrac switch? You don't need to. Grab the cup holders and pull up. That section comes straight up and out. It's just held in by a few metal spring clips.

Unfortunately, you are probably going to find more of a problem than you expect. In addition to the four bosses that hold the switch to the console being broken, very probably the switch itself is broken too. That's why it's giving the "service parking brake" message. What happens is that the plastic pin of the hinges of the switch break. I have repaired one with some roll pins of the right diameter cut down to the right length. Of course, lots of epoxy is involved with the bosses.

I was really lucky the last time at the junkyard and found one intact. It's on a shelf now as a spare.
