This my first time posting pictures of the LS here on LVC. Let me know what you think!
Well, It was finally HOT here in CT, actually a little too hot. But being the first real nice weather we've had thus far this season, I decided to get Project Low-n-Slow her first sponge bath, along with a nice claybar and wax afterwards.
It was a quick 4 hour detail, but it was way too hot to do what I wanted to do. After the clay, I wanted to do all 3 steps in the Meguiars wax, but I finished the first one and damn near passed out from the heat. lol. The car was just too hot for the wax anyways.
I'm convinced that this car has NEVER seen wax since she left the factory. The paint was in HORRIBLE condition when I bought her, which is my problem since I bought her covered in snow. There's TONS of buffer marks from the "detailer" at the Ford dealership, so I don't really want to take them up on their "free detail" they gave me. I figure a few more hand waxes and that will go away. If it stays nice this week I'll just throw the next two stages of wax on.
Anyways, here she is. Nothing has changed since I got her except the tint. I'm on the hunt for some nice (and not crazy expensive) black/chrome 20's to put on her, then I'll throw on the Eibachs to match the wheels, and live up to the project name.
and all tucked away back home.
I have 10 bucks that says we get rain tonight.
