First snow here

this is what I came home to this morning at about 2 am

i remember what that looks like, but if it makes you feel better, me and my wife and kids just came home from gramma and grampa's house for a nice saturday night dip in the pool, today was 93 and their pool water is 89. yup, 90's in october!!!!
 
got it here too. bottom dropped out on wednesday. and 2 weeks ago, we had a few days in the high 80's. gotta love extreme weather.

with weather like that I feel sorry for you. you probably had to put on sun screen and use the a/c. Well at least I can try to make myself feel better about being in MN

I'd have to agree ... no way could I live where you don't get snow and the fun of all seasons ... Sure when it get's closer to spring you get frustrated because you want to get the Mark VIII out and play again but it only makes you appreciate it more.

Love the cold love the snow can't wait for it to get here ...

you can keep the heat and humidity ...

What mespock said. I'm oiginally from Cali and now mid west. Love the seasons and I work outside 24/7/365. Snow is freakin fun, if your prepared. Lots o' whisky and log chains!
 
winter is fun but I am poor and cant get and good winter toys
I can only use my winter beater cars to go have fun but if they break then
I would have to take out the summer cars that equals no fun
 
yeah well you guys can have the snow, while i am outside hanging up christmas lights in nothing but shorts and sandles and drinking ice cold corona's and you guys are all choking on wood stove smoke, and trying to get wet wood to light, and the pipes are frozen under the house and you are outside trying to find a place to put 18 more inches out of the driveway on top of the 2 feet you already have, i'll be thinking of you are how misserable you are, i may even go out on a jet ski or two!! stock up on ether too so you can get that snowblower running after its been sitting for a year with bad gas in it.
 
:q:q:q:q that :q:q:q:q man... I'll take the heat any day.... just drink some water... heat doesn't make your fingers numb when you are turning wrenches, and heat doesn't make your air ride freeze up and blow apart dryers!
