Why does this happen it does the same thing on my buddies supercoupe

It is telling you the fault code that is causing the light to come on. Count the first sequence of flashes, then the second sequence. This will give you the code that will tell you what is wrong. Also, a simple search for "airbag light" will tell you all you need to know,
