So I've been cleaning out my dads barn and he hands me two different aluminum Ford flathead, cylinder heads. I don't have any pics right now, and I'll try to get some this weekend, but does any one know hot to ID these heads weather it be some kind of id numbers, size, bolt holes, water input location...etc.

The bigger cylinder head is a Ford product made of aluminum 24 holes Made in Canada with a number stamped on it "C91A-5050-B

The smaller cylinder head is also a ford 18 holes with the number "52-6058-B stamped on it.

I tried googleing those numbers but got nothing but random crap

I believe the top one is off a 1938 plus V8-81A 24 stud engine.

The bottom one is a strange head.
The bottom..... if I had to guess would be a late 36 or early 37 head its at that time ford swapped water pumps from the front of the head to the block, making the water inlet in the center of the head.
Maybe they made some late 36 221s like this?

18 stud engines had the pump at the front of the head.
Its strange indeed.
You would have to find one old bastard to find out.
The one I would ask .....who would know ....is long gone.
Does the 18 bolt have threads were a water pump could be bolted to it?
If yes its a early 221 head.

I have a book but it is buried deep in the move pile.
