are u guys putting Regular Power steering fluid or the Mercon ATF the manuals saids. thanks in advance
Most all FLM products use transmission fluid instead of power steering fluid I believe...........I could be wrong but I don't think I am. I am actually using a fully synthetic fluid for my power steering as I got a flush about 7000 miles ago. It really helped out during the cold mornings and such. It was from BG.........it's green instead of red.frank_castle said:are u guys putting Regular Power steering fluid or the Mercon ATF the manuals saids. thanks in advance
I flushed mine out at 100,000 miles when I did the tune-up (i bought the car with 101,000). When you start noticing more noise in the steering when you have it at lock, that would be a good time. Again, when I got my system flushed, it quieted it down substantially..........it to me would be preventitive maint.Mysterio505 said:i might sound like an idoit but when should you flush out your PSF?
