I'm new here. Been lurking for about 3 years! lol. That's when I bought my '03 LS V8. Since then I've had some big problems with her that make my wife want to "set the [expletive deleted] thing on fire". But I bought this car about a year before my father passed away because I knew he liked this model a lot and we would drive around in it. I liked it too. So needless to say I have a bit of an attachment to the car that won't let me let it go yet. I've had to re-build the transmission last February, had hella problems with coil packs a couple times, A/C always needs recharging, etc. but it's still my car. I'm about to be doing some upgrades to it as far as the little things go. HID's and stereo. Had a 35/15 tint job done last spring, looks good. Still in great condition physically but the moon roof has a little leak into the a-pillars, having an issue with the throttle body which causes some very rough cold starts, etc. Definitely this car is one that requires a loving touch and some constant attention, which is fine with me, I've always loved cars and working on them when I can. My wife is the type that would rather forget that they exist except for when she needs to get from point A to point B. Women be crazy. Anyways, that's all for now. I suppose I'll be getting to know a lot of you as these upgrades and repairs pan out.

Jetpack Out.

My last vehicle was a '97 Explorer, I was a big time ExplorerX.com (now Explorertalk.com) and Explorerforum.com member. Had quite a few mods under my belt on the truck before I traded it in for the LS. Heres a shot of it:

removed pin-stripes, painted grille, side mirrors, hood shroud to match top color, painted bumper to match bottom color, lots of other interior mods.

Car before that was a 92 Thunderbird. Modded that sucker too. But that was before Al Gore invented the internet so I don't have an pics of it that I can recall.

Anyways, I guess you could say I've been a Ford Guy since I started driving. Just thought I'd share my love for modding and keeping things looking clean.
