My father in law is no longer able to drive, so I am helping him sell his 1976 Lincoln Continental Mark IV. He's had it since around 1985, but stopped driving it about 9 years ago, and it's been garaged ever since. The last time it ran was about 5 years ago, that I know of, and when he last parked it, it was in driveable condition.
EDIT The odometer reads 39956. I don't know if it has rolled over or not, I'm working on finding that out. The original build sheet is being mailed to me, so I will have lots more info soon.
Does anyone know of a good website to interpret the codes on the build sheet?
For now, here's all I know:
VIN 6Y89A908902
Exterior=White/red stripe, front good, rear has substantial rust issues, mainly trunk area
Interior=White leather, red accents, good condition although dusty
Engine=460 with 4 barrell carb and C6 trans, last ran about 5 years ago.
He would prefer to sell the whole car, but is willing to consider parting it out as well.
