For Sale: Used SCT Eliminator Chip #6600

This chip is out of a Supercharged 2001 Cobra that I ended up tuning with an Xcal2 unit instead. When reburned with a custom tune(s) of your choice it will work in your Mark VIII. It is an SCT #6600 Eliminator chip. This chip will hold 5 different tunes and can function as a single program chip or multiprogram chip. If you want to enable the multiprogram switching feature then you will need to buy the #6601 cable and #6602 switch for it. Those go for about $15 retail. New these chips usually go for $269.

Yes, I am pretty sure that the 99 Conti's are supported by SCT. I have never tuned any myself so I do not know 100% but it should be.

Yes it can hold multiple tunes that you can switch between on the fly once you get the little switch and cable for it that I mentioned in post #1.

You wouldn't necessarily have to take you car to a tuner in person if you didn't want to. You could send the chip to the tuner of your choice and have them burn a tune on it for your vehicle and then send you the chip that you would be able to install into the car. You would need to supply them with your vehicle computer catchcode which usually only takes all of 5 minutes.
