So UK Ford is researching a laser ignition system to replace the spark plug, they say it will result in better start up and less carbon emissions

Well ain't that just neat?? I like it. Wonder when a retrofit kit will be out? I see it now...some redneck shadetree mechanic trying to work on the thing, pulls the fiber optic cable out while its running and starts cutting wires, hoses, and himself in the process I can't wait
