Hi All! Yes, I'm new here. Not new to vehicles though. Current rides include a 78 Ford F250 (dual fuel propane/gasoline conversion)
96 Ford E150 work van. 335k city miles on the clock so far w/o a rebuild. Company owned, but I do all the driving and mechanical on it.
My most recent acquisition is a 99 Lincoln Continental! It's very nearly a creampuff, but it does have its issues, which I'm sure some of you will learn more about in the Continental mechanical help forum
It was my father's car (he's owned practically nothing but Lincolns since the 70's), but as he's getting a bit too old to tinker with the odd problems the car is throwing at him, hes finally given up on it and passed it on to me, the last "child" (we're all adults now) he never gave a hand-me-down car to.
It may be 13 yrs old, but it is far and away the youngest vehicle I've ever owned (prior to this, the youngest was an 89 Merkur xr4ti), just a tick over 100k miles, and still lots of gusto. So hopefully the car and I, and this forum, will all be buddies for a while.
