Ford Saline Mark VIII / Happy Birthday Mark 10 years

I was installing a new Infinity Sub Component system and I was running my RCA cable behind the glove box and I happened to notice a recipte stapled to the elastic strap. I started looking at it and It said my cars date of birth which was Monday December 19 which is just wierd that i noticed it today but is there any meaning to why Ford would call it a Saline Mark VIII, I know its not like the Saleen Mustang but, Any Ideas

let me know how the infinitys turn out ok? what did you buy? what head unit are you using? I love infinitys, been using them for years however they can't handle ANY bass. I have an eclipse head unit with infinity kappa 5x6's all around. a crappy amp for the speakers and a mmats sub amp for my 2 12 inch subs

My Kappas can't handle any bass, even though I got them hooked up to a nice JBL amp. (300x4). They will make your ears bleed on the highs though. Good thing I got subs.

For the system I installed was an Infinity BassLink Its a 200 Watt RMS Class D sub amp package. It was what I was looking for a lot of sound and .75 cubic foot space. I have had two 10” solobarics and a massive vented box but that takes up so much space I had to get rid of it. Not to mention heavy, but on the positive side it had unbelievable bass. My Head unit I am running right now is a Eclipse with 5 volt preamps, works good for me I just wish my head unit had a better equalizer. But for the quality of sound that comes out of the basslink is perfect and you hear all the music it doesn’t leave anything out or muffle it all together. That and I got it for only $125 on ebay. All in all its working out for me very well.
