I worked at a FLM dealer part time through college and always liked the LS's as they seemed a little bit ahead of their time. I set off several weeks ago looking for a used LS as a temporary vehicle. After considering a few that looked and felt a little too used for me, I found a 2002 Silver V8 Sport with 26,100 miles. Perfect black leather interior. I Bought it from a one owner, 97 year old man that always had it garaged and "never drove it in poor weather". This thing virtually has no rust -seriously has less rust underneath than brand new cars sitting on the lot. Has the original tires still on it, every oil change record/service/inspection laid out with the original paperwork and window sticker. I could go on but I'm sure you get the point that I'm excited to have found his car.
Now questions for you LS savvy owners: Should I perform a mileage/yearly service? Anything I should watch out for? The only thing that is not pristine on this car is the left valve cover gasket looks to be seeping oil, a somewhat common occurrence from what I can find.
Any input is greatly appreciated!
