During the summer my Mom and I go on different tours with our 1914 Model T and I went on another tour with guys this weekend and I found Lincoln Heaven!!

This Guy had over 60+ Lincolns from the 60's and 70's including a few very rare ones. Some were Cadillac’s and a few thunderbirds. All of this was sitting in an old school house that this guy is in the process of restoring and turning into a museum. Plus he built his house inside the main Gym area and can go out on his deck and look out over his collections.

Where is this awesome place you ask well it’s in a tiny town with less the 800 people in it 45min north of St, Croix falls. A few of the cars that are in this collection he bought brand new and still has today. Everything in here is original and some is in immaculate shape. Not bad for an 87 year old man and his dog! I asked if he would adopt me!

Just before I left I asked what was in all the class rooms….”What else?” he says “Car Part’s!” I need to go back and just listen to this guys stories of how he got all these cars. This is so cool and I can’t wait to have a similar collection of my own! FREAKIN SWEET!

So I’m looking at doing a cruise up there with our marks and I want to know who is interested? You really have to check this place out!! I will be starting a fall Cruise up through Taylors Falls MN, there is allot of nice scenery along the way and definitely worth going!

Either 10/2 or 3 or 10/16 or 17th looks like promising dates but nothing set in stone yet. I’ll do this on my own if I have too but would be sweet to have a bunch of you guys with. So what do you think? He wants us to come out.

Wow!! Wished I was close enough to participate and see this place. What is going to happen to this place when this guy passes as we know he will.

Wow! Thanks for sharing that! That was a very cool thing to see.

I tried to drive a Model T once with only 2 minutes of instruction. I almost killed myself. That whole hold the pedal down to go slow thing threw me off.

No Prob! Every time I went to go look at another car I kept finding more rooms with even more cars! It was indeed awesome! Well his son restores old wooden boats and plans on keeping the collection together.

Yhea took me a few times stalling it to get the hang of it but when you have to jump out and crank start it in the middle of a busy intersection, you learn fast! If you’re ever up here I always give people rides and let them drive if they want. Its second nature to me now but I know what you mean!

"Push Clutch in to go in gear? WTF over?" “The gas is on the steering column, really?” LOL! Good stuff!

Oh my God!!! Those Continental Mark II's are absolutely beautiful! Even though, technically, it's not a "Lincoln", it's my favorite Continental of them all. Maybe my favorite car of all! And I've got a 8N Redbelly like the one in that picture. It's a 1952 model and I use it all the time. It's been converted to 12 volt electrical and it runs like brand new. All I need to do is clean it up and paint it and it would look brand new. If I ever went to that place, they'd probably have to literally drag me out of there kicking and screaming. That is one lucky fella.

That also brought back some memories of the 1962 Continental I used to have. I bought it back in the 80's as a project and unfortunately never got it on the road. It was dark forrest green with white leather. It had the 430 V-8 and all the options. The suicide doors were the best part. I really wish I had kept it. But time and money were tight and I couldn't keep it. Oh well, maybe someday I'll get another one. Ahhhh. A man can dream...

I see how it is don't invite me to ride with
I could have done some of the driving for you

we rode with others, our T dint make it but we will be going to brainerd in oct for the fall color tour, hopefully its not the same weekend as porkys shoot out.

I too love the Mark II's they look great...:):)

Great Pix! I've owned a few Mark's, T Birds and other assorted Ford products.
Would love to visit the place. Keep us posted on the date! :)

Wow, nice photos! That guy is some kind of dedicated. I'm especially loving the Mark II's, what a beautiful car. <3

The guy was pretty old so I'm guessing he's gone to the parking lot in the sky. His son was more interested in boats. Would love to see those cars on the road.
