Front Bumper Ruined?

Due to my own carelessness I now have scared my otherwise immaculate LS. The local repair shop quoted me $1100 (painted and installed) for a new bumper, chrome strip, and fog light (housing damaged). They would not repaint the bumper because of a small crack near the corner light. I thought maybe this would be a good opportunity to get an 04 LSE front bumper if the cost would be about the same.

Anyone have any suggestions for me here or maybe an 03+ bumper for sale?

***KEN*** has the website and he's out of the LSE kits (I believe).
Options:
You could get one from your local dealership (not recommended).
You could get it from Team Ford (on this forum under vendors).
Or you could call Maxx at Five Star Ford (on this site under vendors).

If you want to fix your current bumper look up Caliber Collision, they will fix, paint and guarantee the bumper for as long as you own the car. Had this done to my back bumper after a small yellow pole traded paint with me.

you just missed out. I got rid of my 04 bumper very cheap. For around $1100 you can probably do the 04 LSE swap. Definately go through Bill at teamford.com He hooked me up very nicely on my 06 bumper.

Sorry my bad, I just noticed you have an 04 already you can get the 04-06 LSE bumper from Bill at Team Ford. Heres what you need.

Bumper $305
Fog lamps $60
LSE Fog lamp brackets $100
plus paint approx $200 and you are good to go!!

Its a direct bolt on.

Yeah I had read where you were selling that part recently. Just bad timing I guess. How much did the 06 LSE swap cost you (if you dont mind my asking)? I noticed from your photos that you dont have chrome on your rear bumper. Did you paint them or did you upgrade the rear bumper to the LSE with the front one? I like the horizontal chrome strips on the black body... it really pops. The LSE doesnt have those right?

I am still looking around for a better quote, I think $1100 is too high for the work/parts needed.

How much did the 06 LSE swap cost you (if you dont mind my asking)? I noticed from your photos that you dont have chrome on your rear bumper. Did you paint them or did you upgrade the rear bumper to the LSE with the front one?

My 04 is a V8 and doesnt have the chrome on the bumpers at all, that only came on the V6 model for the 03+'s. A far as cost, I just posted right before you asked me that question about. About $700 total painted.
