I've been thinking about the front bumper make over. Like Blue_t's Mark (very nice ride)
I did a quick photochop of a cobra front bumper with the fog lights and air intake for the brakes.
thoughts?

That looks puss, puss. It may make the car a little front end heavy looks wise.Could you photoshop that nose on a Gen 1? I think you are on to something there.

Thanks Chris, but I most be blind or tired or you are :q:q:q:qing with me on that quote from chicken, I do not see the years mentioned, and if it was mentioned, my bad. Quit making me think this late at night.

hahaha. its from another thread about blue_t's bumper from awhile ago.

Yes,

I may get into fiber work with my spare hood, but I think you've gotta do some plasti-welds for the bumper, and I can't plasti-weld, never tried

most are like a big soldering iron with a filler rod... some use air and constant temp control. I tend to make a mess with it but thats what they make sanders for. almost like a hot glue gun with an iron on the end

I youtubed some vids, looks easier than actual welding actually. Fiberglass looks super easy too, just time consuming i guess. I'll begin some progress in a couple of weeks, may experiment with Bills car since he's selling it anyway

I'll start with deleting the center trim from the other 93s bumpers like an lsc and go from there

your going to eliminate the strip with what? fiberglass?

You suggest?
I've never done any body work other than panel swapping, nor have I done fiber glass. I've always wanted to get into body and paint, but could never get my foot in the door at any shops around here for it, I guess I'm not Mexican enough

It would be better to plastic weld. The fiberglass will most likely crack out when the bumper gets stressed. The basic plastic welders run about 200 bucks. It would take alot of filler rod as well. I would try and cut strips out of a separate bumper and weld those strips into your hole, and then fill and smooth it.
