I have a 2000 Ls v8 and when I'm driving it down the highway the front end is loose. It goes back and forth slightly on the road. It feels like the wind blowing it back and forth but I know it is a problem with the front. It doesn't vibrate at all. It just doesn't hold a straight line. I need to get it fixed but i was wondering if anyone has had any problems like this and might know what kind of problem i am looking at and how much for the repair. Thanks

Why don't you take it in for an alignment? At Sears, they charge 64.99 and do a four wheel alignment. Assuming nothing is loose or damaged underneath your car, that is all you will have to pay. However, if your tierod ends are loose or your ball joints are loose or anything else is loose, than you will have to pay more to get your car fixed correctly. Also, you may need cam bolts/shims to bring the rest of the car into spec. because they don't make adjusters for every part of your suspension in relation to the alignment. The cam bolts/shims will be an additional charge.
