I just wanted to see how my '94'd look without a front license plate so I unscrewed it. But the big ugly bracket is held on some other way. There are four holes and they don't look like normal screws. How do you pull this thing off? :)

Those are riveted in, or at least the past 3 Fords I've owned have. You'll probably have to drill them out...

Rivets? Ack... Anyone know if it looks good when you remove the front plate? Anyone have pics? :D

I will look good if you remove the plate and fill in the holes where the rivets were. Otherwise you will end up with 4 holes in the front bumper cover.

It does, but you have to make sure to get the holes filled for it to really look good. I have no plate on the front of my Mark, but I have yet to have the holes filled, and it looks like crap....but have seen them filled, and it looks good. Mine will be filled sooner or later.....along with everything else on the front/rear bumper covers. :Beer

no front plate in fl, so here is what it looks ike from the factory, if you look close there are two small indent for screw to go but it was never drilled out.
