I got an 05' Lincoln LS I just replaced the front passenger window regulator but used the same motor cuz there was nothing wrong with it got it all together pretty self explanitory only comes out and goes in one way but when i roll the wondow up ususaly i push the switch and it clicks forward and that makes it roll up the rest of the way by itself same with rolling the window down but this time it stops as soon as i let off the button. the way down it works. the way up it doesnt, wierd. on top of that when i roll the window down to its lowest point the wondow doesnt go down into the window stripping, just the top left corner sticks out about a quarter inch. when I roll the window up to the top, it hits the top but the rolles down a small amount then stops. like i said all bolts are in the rite holes i adjusted the windows multiple different ways, one side lower then the other but nothin works. could this be somthing easy please tell me so, i need help and any would be appreciated. Thanks

Seems as if the glass was not adjusted correctly to the regulator/ assembly. take it apart and test it without the panel on it, you will see what is worng with it then..

You caught me in a good mood, even though Google translate had a lot of trouble with that one.

1. You don't have the glass correctly aligned in the clips and/or you may have the regulator rails a little tilted.

2. You have to reinitialize the window motor to get the auto up/down feature to work correctly.

Roll the window down.
Press and hold the window control switch in the UP position at the second detent until the window glass stalls into the glass top run. Once the top run is reached, keep holding the window control switch in the UP position at the second detent for an additional 2 seconds.
After this, the auto up and down feature should work correctly.
