I tried searches and found very little. Are gen 1 front struts a direct swap into a gen 2 mark8. I am only asking cause I am getting a great deal on a 97 w/ leaky front, And I own a 93 that a dealer just put on brand new oem for front struts within a year ago. but the back half of the car is wrecked and the odometer is showing 200+ thousand miles. It is a very tired car but I figured the front air ride was worth 50$ I am sure other parts will get donated along the way too. I have my own shop in central illinois if anyone needs a good mechanic to work on mark 8's, I have had a lot of experience with them, And I have access to all of fords data ie wiring diagrams, and trouble shooting. I have all the test equipment needed to work on them too.
