Story:
I have owned the car since December of 2005. I am now looking to get a more economical car with greater back seat space. Everything works great. Air needs new Evaporator to blow cold. Blend door needs replaced, and I have a brend new blend door that will go with the car. I also have an extra electric fan that will go with the car.
The car has been recently serviced, with receipts, in the following areas:
Replaced water pump, thermostat, pressurized flow tube cap, coolant, electric fan wiring harness, electric fan, and Radiator.
Replaced faulty air suspension with 1 1/2 inch lowered Coil Spring Conversion kit from American Air Suspension
Replaced brake pads
Mobil 1 extended life oil and filter
New Serpentine Belt
Replaced 3rd cat/muffler ($450)
Engine Temp. Sensor
3 of 4 O2 sensors
These areas need work:
-Missing passenger side front vent (so there is an open hole there instead of louvered grate
-Exterior passenger side door handle needs to be replaced
-AC evaporator needs to be replaced (AC blows, but not cold - service tech said this is the reason)
-Tires need to be replaced soon
-Driver's side front O2 sensor (all three others have been replaced recently)
-Multi-Disk CD Changer cartridge. Can buy new for $30 online.
-Small ding on the driver's side, above wheel well. This one will not buff out. It could be touched up and not be noticeable
-Missing front license plate holder
-A few spots on the passenger side, rear, and front bumper could use touch-up paint. All blemishes should easily buff out.
-CD changer is missing the CD jacket. I've priced these, and they are $20 to replace. I never replaced it because I use an MP3 player. I also have an extra CD changer someone can have if they'd like to use it instead of replacing the CD jacket.
All in All, the car is in good shape. It runs and drives well. I've only driven the car approximately 20 miles a day since I have owned it. I have not raced the car or driven it at WOT.
I have either serviced the car through Bankston Lincoln in Dallas or my personal mechanic (for suspension conversion).
Payment: Cash only. Cannot finance. Local Pickup preferred. Serious Inquiries Only, please.
1998 Lincoln Mark VIII - LSC
I am located in Downtown Dallas. Need to sell the car soon.
Looking to get $4500. This is a fair price, and I've easily spent $2000+ over the last 6 months replacing suspension and cooling parts.
