2000 ls 3.9 just finished the timing car runs perfect. I replaced the fuel pump because that is what I was told was wrong with the car by the garage in April and when I started it with fresh gas for the first time today in 18 months it says fuel computer data error. What will cause this do not feel like keeping and eye on miles constantly to keep from running out of gas. Does the. Car need to be driven around to reset the computer? Or did I get a bad pump or is something else wrong?
