Fuel Filter

Can anyone tell me where the fuel filter on my 2000 LS would be at? Usually once or twice a week the car will turn over but not start. After a few minutes it will backfire and start. I thought maybe it has a bad filter.

Behind the driver's side inner fender liner. Once you remove the wheel and rear portion of the liner, you'll see it.

Driver wheel well - pull the driver wheel off, pull the plastic liner off (plastic push pins), the filter is held on with one bolt. the filter is held one with some plastic - r-clips

lol - I'm actually sitting in the airport (again....) no love for the car this weekend - home late friday / out sunday....

but - my new injectors did show up!

Im not trying to hijack your thread whiffer but... what is the speacial tool you need to on change the fuel returnless filter?
