Since this applies to any car, I thought I'd post it here...
So, you were told that changing your fuel filter every 30+ thousand miles is fine?
Here's a fuel filter out of a car I was working on today. 15K mikes on this filter. The filter is easily twice (if not 3 times) bigger than a (and I'll use this example because I'm familiar with them), Mark VIII fuel filter.
Picture 1 = Filtration side and "clean" side. Note the color differences.
Picture 2 = Close-up of the filtration side (Yes, I love my phone's 8MP Camera's macro function)
Picture 3 = Close up of the "clean" side. Did I mention how much I heart my phone's camera?
