I have a 1994 STS.
I am going to be replacing the fuel pump as I have verified that it is bad and that the circuit is good. Looks like I have to drop the exhaust no problem there. Then I see 4 bolts holding down the straps. I also see the fuel inlet pipe and another pipe.- they unclamp.
What surprises am I going to find on top?
A pump lead and several fuel lines?
Also without the fuel in tank maybe 2 gallons left can I lower the tank without a jack lift- is the thing really heavy or light enough to muscle around?
Any advice?
Should I also replace the fuel pressure regulator or is that redundant?
Fuel filter already replaced. 287k miles car usually runs like a top...
Thanks in advance! 8^) Dave:burnout:
