fuel tank removal question

im tryin to remove fy fuel tank on my 96 mark viii lsc and its got a borla exhaust rite under the heat sheild for the tank now i dont know how it is on a stock exhaust but will i have to cut the exhaust to remove the tank? i have the tank hangin up on the exhaust rit now im not seein any other option please help!!!!!!

Drop the exhaust then drop the tank!!

+1 ... You have to drop the exhaust to drop the tank unless the exhaust is in 2 pieces.
