I was just in Autozone, had to get upper control arms and when I opened the boxes, what did I see??? TRW, greasless ball joints and TRW stamped uppers,
I asked the guy at the counter if there was a mistake, he told me that Autozone has begun converting their inventory to Moog parts, Duralast has struck a deal with BorgWarner and now their inventory is slowly converting to MOOG!!! Bout time they did something worth while!

Figured you all might want to know.

They always sold TRW stuff, it was just more expensive and not labeled duralast.

Agreed, however, now the parts in the Duralast Box are now MOOG parts... not the standard cheap duralast product.
I guess years of complaints has forced them to reconsider their parts supply.
They are moog now in the Duralast boxes.

Atleast in the boxes I have purchased lately.

Thanks for the info. Im doing one of my Marks front end now. I had't bought the upper control arms yet. George

As a former employee there who still knows some peeps who can do some stuff... this is potentially great news.

OK let me just point out that This is something that is taking place as of now, I'm sure there will still be backstock that is their duralast stock, so as pointed out, Just ask to open the box and verify the parts contained within.

Good luck,
Bill

See I told you, that you were to smart for Autozone .....

Friends don't let Friends shop at Autozone!!!!

Hey, they're apparently switching to Moog suspension parts - I'd encourage a friend to buy those. :) Anyway, I left because they replaced the store manager with some asshat I wasn't about to work for...

He was a bi-lingual company shill who happened to be just intelligent enough to be partially competent. So probably everybody around here wanted him.
