Just thought that I would let every one know about some strange messages on my 2004 V8 message center. My battery went low (yet to be determined why) and needed to be charged to start the car. After charging, the message center kept repeating the following messages: Service Park Brake, Foot on Brake & Park Brake On. The park Brake light on the console was also on and would not go out. The park brake was not actually engaged so I was able to drive to the dealer. Before going to the Dealer I tried resetting the computer by disconnecting the Batt for 10 min. but the warnings persisted. The only fault code recorded was Low Batt Voltage. The dealer mechanic tried trouble shooting but found no reason for the problem messages. He ended up completely reloading several specific data points in the code and fixed the problem after a general re flash also did not work. Unfortunately for me the Mech had gone home for Xmas vacation before I was able to "de-brief him".

The bottom line seems to be that going through a low battery cycle can cause some pretty unrelated problems in our computers.

Since you're not sure why the battery drained, maybe one of these issues caused that and not the other way around as you're suggesting.

Your right! I will just have to keep watch and see which is which. With these new computer run cars it is hard to tell the chicken from the egg.
