Im trying to figure some ways to get better gas mileagle. I plan on adding a KnN filter... and when i replace that ill clean my MAF sensor. I have to replace my back tires because they are a different size then they should be. And i just got a oil change.

What else should i check to get some better gas mileage??

correct tire pressure.

and of course, the biggest one is driving style.

regular maintance is a big one also.. not just oil, plugs, filters... change coolant (yea, it will help a small degree, not to mention prevent $$$$$$ repairs later), all synthetic fluids (oil, trans, ect)....

and ya.. pretend there is a raw egg under the 'loud' pedal.....

i was told not to put synthetic oil in my 94 because of the age... and it will leak more than regular oil if there is the slightest leak

yea.. it could leak more if you get a leak, or have marginal seals...

the reason is the synthetics do a better job at cleaning the crud outta the engine than mineral oils do. If you don't want synthetics, keep the mineral oil fresh and clean....
