OK - here is a weird one...

I was washing my 2004 LS today and I had the radio going. When I went to move it into the garage I had run the battery down.

The weird thing was that when I went to start the car I noticed that all of the gauges cycled to their maximum reading then went back to 0. If you have driven a Pontiac G6 then you probably know what I am talking about.

The question is - does anyone know of a way I can make them do this all the time? I know it seems a little silly but I think it looks pretty cool.

Kill the battery before each start.

You could install a circut breaker type switch on your main battery cable.... and turn all juice to the car off everytime you shut it off, then the computer will run its self test and guages will sweep at every startup... Not sure if you'll lose your presets on radio and seats or not. Its not that cool to me to go through all the trouble lol.
