What is a good way to hold pulley from turning when trying to loosen the bolt? Have the crank positioning tool but don't think it is a good idea to use that. Any ideas besides removing starter and trying to hold flywheel?

Thanks for the reply Joe. I have a chain wrench that I loaned to my son years ago. Will get it back and try it.

If the engine's in the car and the radiator is in place, you may find it efficacious to use a 'cheater' handle on your socket/breaker-bar. I've found that the handle on my floor jack works well as a cheater.
