Gen 1 LS V8 Gas tank removal

Does anyone know the proper steps to remove the gas tank? I have to most likely change out the fuel tank pressure sensor or change our the harness but I need to get access to the sensor and wires. Or can someone tell me where exactly I need to cut out under the back seat to make an access panel to it on the drivers side of the car? I am trying to get out of this repair the cheapest way possible and I obviously don't really want to drop the gas tank unless I really have to.

The major steps are to remove the rear part of the exhaust, then the driveshaft. After that you should be able to disconnect and drop the fuel tank.

Can anyone give me an idea of where would need to be cut most likely if I am gonna go the other route ?
