Used axle shaft from my 98 Mark VIII with 98k miles. There is nothing functionally wrong with it. I needed to replace the other side, and I got a good deal on 2, so I replaced both sides.

Gen 2:
Driver side mirror-Black-Doesn't auto-dim any more. I disassembled the glass and cleaned out the residue left over from the electrochromic dimmer fluid, and I polished it with Zaino glass polish. The mirror is about 98% clear now, no longer hazy. The black painted part has some scratches/scuffs on it.

Passenger side mirror-Black-The gear to turn it side to side has broken, and there isn't a turn signal assembly included with it. I think I may be able to fix the gear using parts from another mirror I've got. This one's got some scratches/scuffs on it too.
