I think gen1 would be cuz of less lb.

Personally, I think a 96 LSC is the quickest of the production Marks. OBD-II, Gen 1 intake, dual exhaust, 3.27 rear.
The 93' tend to feel faster due to their more agressive computer programming from the first model year.
I've driven 20+ mark VIII's some stock, some modified...the more agressive the computer, the faster the feel...but you would have to line them all up side by side, and let the same driver race them all, in matched conditions down the 1/4 mile to see who's fastest.
If I had to, I'd lay it down like this(fastest to slowest)

now with 3.73's, SCT tune, and ART exhaust i did a 14.6@96 last year.. will have to see what i end up with this year with the addition of a better tune, underdrives and cobra intake.. IF it leaves the garage this year
