Gen2 gauge on gen 1

Do the gen 2 gauges fit and work on gen 1s?

nope! they are two different sizes, actually are the Gen1's 3 different pieces where the Gen2 is one complete piece?

I haven't looked at the two side by side but I wonder if you could cut the Gen 2 up to fit the Gen 1? You may be able to swap a little more to get a direct fit but I'm not sure if the electrical connections would be the same

i know right now the electrical connections will be diffrent, but my question is...will it bolt up the same.
