GenII Console - how do I remove the liner?

I want to replace the center console lid hinge (my spring broke). I cant see how to remove the fuzzy inner liner. I removed the rubber mat and the two screws on the bottom - what else?

If I remember correctly , remove the arm rest from the hinge and pry out the liner !

THX! I was afraid to just pry without knowing.

Still wont budge I used a large putty knife and a couple screwdrivers to wedge around the lip, but it just wont budge -at least w/out breaking. The whole console lifts up (since the lower screws are removed). This should be a sinple task. There must be something holding it on.
