Good god!

Holy Crap!! Thats crazy!

When was the last time you fed him before that?

 Thats not mine.

But I have caught bigger Bass than that all summer long with my daughter and its so hard to imagine even some of the ones we caught taking down even a rat pup like that one.

I know they sell rat and mice lures but I never used one and I only imagined them working on some big fish in some big lakes and even so they are on a smaller scale as to a actual living scale. But again this thing is small and its in a 55 gallon! I can only imagine how f*cked up that tank is water quality wise.

Best use for a rat ever.

A guy I know used to be married to a woman who owned caymans. The second one they had ate a rat, but didn't bother actually killing the rat first, so it, paraphrasing Ron White, ate the cayman right back from the inside out.

I'm not sure whether or not that one had a worse death than its predecessor, which got left outside one night when a sudden hard freeze hit--they came out the next morning to find a caymansicle in the back yard...

Thats why I take pride in beating my feeders over the head when I feed them to my reptiles:D

A buddy of mine didnt feed his Burmese Python for a long time, claimed the economy had him in a rough spot:rolleyes: The snake so eagerly ate the Guinea pig he fed it it didnt even bother constricting it and within the night the thing was literally gagging on its owns blood.

That video was awesome. Inever knew a bass that small could eat something that big.

Thats a cool vid. Chicago has to dump more rats in the river.

thats not a very small bass, besides that it is a large mouth so that is why it could eat the rat so easily, i have caught 12 inch large mouth bass up north with 6 inch diameter mouths, but the bass in that tank is not very small, it appears to be small because the tank it is in is small, thats easily a 16-18 inch large mouth

Thats a small bass are you nuts?! Its in a 55 gallon tank and that's not a full grown rat its just a pup not even weened yet so take the comparison into mind. I am positive its less than 12"s. I have caught large mouths 6 times that size on average.

A small fish looks large in a tank that's to small. Maybe why it looks so big to you.

I know large mouths have large mouths hence the name but take into consideration the size of its gut.:)

The video was taken down. Here it is on liveleak.com.

I am correct, t is under 12"s I was going to pin point it at 8"s but its 8.5" and the rat is 1.5 weeks old:D

Think about it, a 55g is 48 1/4" L x12 3/4"W x19"H. That would mean that fish is almost half the length of the tank it is in and longer than the size of the tanks width giving it a hell of a hard time getting around.

Wanna see some more monsters? None of them are eating but I drove almost 2 hours to the closest Cabellas yesterday for some fishing stuff for the spring and I took this video of the gigantic tanks and the pond full of Trout.

I like the Musky and Bow Fins the most. I got a real good shot of one of the Bow Fins floating around.

Is that in MN? Looks like the one i goto. It's only like 40 mins from me :D

Somewhere in PA. I had to cross from where I live in NJ and just drive on the same boring highway the entire drive. It was easy but slow and boring.

Im selling this thing tomorrow. Some guys coming all the way from Harrisburg PA to pick her up for a killer steal of 75$ plus I'm giving up all of my supplies that she uses along with anything I have stored.

Its my Orange Bearded Dragon, you cant tell cause shes about to shed and the camera is picky about lighting but she normally is the brightest sherbet orange I have ever seen in a Dragon before.

I'll miss her and shes worth way more so I felt I needed something to remember her by. The rodent is only a fuzzy in weening stage so I didnt club this one like most adult mice and rats.

Here it is....

TOKAY! Yes!!!!! my favorite and what a underdog! Nasty F*cking things. I have scars form my largest that I had a long time ago. Pricks are known to snap childrens finger bones on the Islands they are found, bit pull of the lizard world we call em. Small but one hell of a bite and they wont let go! Mine would all get a Gerbil pinky every other month and loved it. Even my Dragons couldn't break the skin on one of those gerbil pinky's.

There is a guy that I know and hang out with. Hes pretty old and has no family left that is in the area but he is in to Reptiles so I hang out with the guy to make him happy. He packs up a Hearst called the snake mobile with cages and crap full of reptiles that he takes to school and local carnivals and community fairs to educate people. I take the kids with sometimes cause he has so much stuff. Hot, local, rare,.. anything and everything. He has a Nile Monitor that gets rabbits. Freakin coolness watching that thing eat. One chomp and then it tosses its head back and slugs it down with ease!

On a sad note our oldest Dragon passed a few days ago and its kinda hard letting this Dragon go but eh I told the guy I got dibs on first pic of her first round of eggs.
