Picked up a 2008 Monotone Limited Edition MKX on Monday for my wife to drive. Pretty nice CUV, Navigator was my first choice but a little less practical and more money. She drives pretty far to work each day as well as I, so gas has become an issue.

We are keeping it in the family, to date we have had:
1998 Mountaineer
2003 Navigator
2006 Zephyr
2002 LSE (My current car)
2008 MKX (Her current car)

I would stand to say Ford has made some money off of us...
As soon as someone tells me the idiot's way of posting pictures I will gladly do so.

They all had their stregnths and weaknesses... Loved the Navi's size, look and functionality, but it was constantly in the shop. I am in love with my LSE, however I bought it with some puzzling issues and they have yet to be resolved... The Zephyr was cool for what it was, a FWD sedan. Good gas milege but not as good in the snow as expected. Also this replaced an SUV so it had some really big shoes to fill... The MKX is still fresh, but I liked it enough to sign on the dotted line. It is better in the snow than the Zephyr was. That leaves the Mountaineer, had it from 90,000 to 137,000 and did nothing to it but a battery, so it was a really reliable vehicle. Hope this helps!

I really like the MKX. I think I may want one for my wife but she's stuck on a Murano for some reason...

Get her to drive them both... Options are not even comparable and the MKX has a certain classiness about it.
