About 2 years ago I tore up my shoulder in a softball game.. Went to an orthopedist, he sent me to physical therapy and things got better so we left it at that. 3 weeks ago, my shoulder *popped* and hurt like hell. I went to another orthopedist who sent me to get an MRI with contrast and today informed me that my right shoulder labrum was full detached. That means all the support holding my shoulder in the joint is off, and it pops in and out of the socket cuasing extreme pain. The only solution is surgery, and the recovery time to full use is 6-8 months or more. Wonderful

:Bang :give :thread:

shoulder surgery

thats why i am getting out of the military on medical. 1 1/2 yr ago i was hit by a drunk driver while riding my motorcycle. first surgery was the most painful experience of my life, hurt more after the surgery than before. once i, burned my hand and out of reaction jerked my arm away, almost passed out from the pain, lips turned white, got dizzy, hurt like hell. in the end couldnt move my arm fully, 6 months of physical therapy and another surgery, got almost all my movement back, but cant even swing a bat, swim, or hold my baby in the air. just make sure you get the best doctor money can by. mine was a good old navy doctor.

Sorry to hear this and i hope everything gets better and works out ok.
