Got into an accident today, parts anyone?

I am selling my 96 as either a parts car if I get a good enough offer or I will be parting it out. I got into an accident today as you can see from the pictures. I am done with this car,even tho the damage isn't that bad I am done with it. everything in it is for sale, including the stereo.

I know how frustrating that can be. She still looks beautiful, and your photo garage shows that you put a lot of work into her.

Are you that sure you want to part with it?
 
Glad someone caught that sunroof. when I hit the sunroof opened up and wouldn't close. I had to hit it closed, it tilts up just fine however it will not open back to fully open. Maybe the track got dislogded, I have no idea.
 
I'm with the rest sorry to hear of the accedent. Nobody hurt is the best news. Any insurance? Maybe you could do what I did.

I hit a deer got enough money to pay for a nother Mark and then sold my car to Scott9050 as is. Did very good on the deal and made Scott a very good sale.

If you are parting it out I'll take the shift if the OD is still working.
 
if it is payed for and you can get the bags cheap. make some money on it. will help to find what you need to fix it. have a contact with a savalage yard in centeral il that is very resonable on prices. jd
 
i would like to get the front seats and rear seat off of you pm me with price thanks also drivers side and passanger door panels.
 
He had his windows up when the airbags blew. The force of the airbags expanding displaces a lot of air and that pressure took the path of least resistance, i.e; blowing out his moon roof.

I have always wanted to see what an Mark VIII looks like wih LS wheels on it, and now I know. Looks pretty damn good.
 
If you're firm about parting the car out, I'd be interested in your LMS XX pipe and Mufflers.
 
As a few others have said, If you're parting it out, let us know. Id be interested in those nice LS wheels.
 
I think I remember you saying you installed some kooks headers on it. If so... How good of conidition are they and how much shipped to 60638. Thanks in advance.
 
Also, if someone is looking for a good quality headunit, get in touch with him and pick it up. I have that same Eclipse unit, works awesome, prolly get a good deal on it too.
 
Airbags are easy to replace, then replace the module and it would be good to go. I am guessing they would not cost more than $200 total in black to get. After that the body damage is very minor, the damage on my 94 was worse.
 
I thank everyone for the intrest in parts, Its good to know that if I wanted I could sell things.. :) however I'd rather wait a little bit to try and sell the car as a whole. I have no time at all to take out parts.. specially the headers and the transmission and everything else. I work like 80 hours a week, and when i am not working I am so tired to do anything else. so just bare with me, I saved all the private messages so if I decided to part it out, I'll know who asked first and get back to you.

As for fixing this car, yea the damage isn't bad but this car is a money pit. I bought the car for 6500 and have since put more than that in it in just repairs alone. so I'm into this car for over 12 grand including my loan I have on it.. which is still about 5500 left. now you see my pain, I do not wanna put anymore money into this car at all.

I put alot of work and $ in this car so I really would like to get 4500 for it when I sell it, I will probally replace the airbags before I sell it but thats it. if anyone wants to make me an offer for it it can be theirs. idk if 4500 is steep for a car that is damaged however I have a totally rebuilt tranny with shift kit and stall thats got to be worth 1500 at least. plus my entire exhaust is like 2 grand. The car is not in the best of shape, its hitting 100,000 on the body so some things are going, but all in all I take great care of my ride.

oh and those ls rims are not in the best of shape and they require an inch adapter that makes some vibration in the steering wheel when driving... I am used to it.. I feel its a small price to pay for rims that I feel really look good on the mark. I still have the stock rims chrome 10 spoke rims. I believe they are 10 spoke.

You will probably only sell it for like 3000-4000 at the most on a lincoln site not outside... like people have said, most people looking for lincolns dont want to mod them...
 
My Mark viii engine siezed, im going to take it apart today, then let the tow truck pick up the rest. to bad you are not close to new jersey. could had sold you the car cheap for part, since most of the car is in good conditions. if intrested . let me know soon!!!
