Old man in a town car let off the brake and bumped right into me! Would not have been any issue but his licence plate bolts went right into my bumper!! :Bang Im assuming the only fix is a new bumper cover? If its not one thing its another I tell you!!

TImes like this is when i wish I had my tahoe.. It would not have even left a scratch!! :Bang

oh believe me im not a nice guy ill take someones info if they just look at my car the wrong way but what im scared of is hit and runs when your not in the car.....cant do nothin about those

I agree. NEVER too little dammage. The car does not have even ONE scratch on it, besides the 2 holes in the bumper now. Yes, got his info. He wants to pay off line from Insc company. Which I'm fine with. He was nice about it, said he would pay to fix etc. None the less I took down all his insc info just incase he does not! He owns a mustang restoration shop and offered to fix it there, but I think I am going to take it to a body shop here (avoid any short-cuts being taken) I dont think its going to be much. But I am assuming the bumper cover will need to be replaced, unless they can repair the holes in it im not sure. Basically he just let off the brake and rolled into me, JUUUST enough to put those screws into the bumper!
Oh well $hit happenens, and it will be fixed... just a headache!

BAd weekend for the LS: Tire Blow out, new tires, and now rear ended. :slam

Where are you located at? My best friend runs a body shop in springfield Ill, and the do GREAT work.

Doh,
Im hours away in the suburbs of chicago!! Or i'd go there in a heart beat. To me, body reputations are all by word of mouth. I called the LM-Dealer here and asked who they used. Its close to work, so I am going to hit them for an estimate at lunch.

Thanks tho!! :Beer :Beer

Ebay or bumpers.com and a half gallon of paint, some clear and catalyst.

I think bumpers.com was $299, colored. Check ebay though, To bad I'm not closer to ya i'd gladly help ya spray it up a new skin real fast.

Thanks for the input!! :)
but as of right now, I am going to fax this qoute to the guy who hit me..

Well, it worked out, the guy just called his insc company and made a claim, so I have an adjuster looking at it tomorrow! Maybe this will be like other times I got hit and I made $ on the deal to buy other stuff for the car :)
