This is the stages I went through up until now.

- jerky shifts
- at around 80 km/h, the entire car vibrated until it jumped into the next gear
- extremley hard shifts from R to D
- heavy clunks when shifting into P
- "check transmission" "E"
- failure to go into gear 4 and 5
- 4 error codes scanned
- shaft sensor
- speed sensor (if I recall)
- 4th gear ratio
- 5th gear ratio
- took it to many shops for diagnosis and settled at aamco
- $2115 plus 5 days without my car and I get...
- a rebuilt tranny
- new torque convertor
- new solenoids
- new fuel drum (or something like that)
- and a transmission computer swap
- LITERALLY 2 km later "check transmission" "E"
- all gears we're working, no more hard shifting
- scanner says it's the sensors again
- car is now starting to vibrate like it did before at around 80 km/h
- taking it back to aamco for them to fix it, under warranty

Just sharing my tranny experience, any thoughts on what it really could be?

 Agreed

One of my cousin's classmates got there engine rebuilt at firestone.. The next morning, he walked out in the garage and saw all the oil on the floor because they 'forgot' to put the drain plug back in all the way..
