After working for this fubar company for 14 months I finaly land a great job with a much better one. Since I was 14 I have been srubing floors and gettting walked on. As of yesterday I am the new R&D Tech at Generial Mills! I'm so excited to finally have a good job with a good companny. Just knowing that I can now afford my bills is such a big burden off my back. I don't think I could have gone much longer with what I was getting, I was simply running in place.

Finally life is getting better then that hole I was in last year. I get great job, I have nice house with 2 cars I'm in love with sitting in the garage and my wife comes home from the desert next Saterday. On top of it all I've some managed to lose 30 lbs, just 25 more to be fore I hit my goal.

If you can't tell I'm so frikin pumped! I'm not trying to gloat but a few months ago I was close to loseing my house and going to jail, but I some how musterd through it and got here! I hope the rest I you guys get some of my good luck. Now I can goback to complaining about the little stuff like my dog sh!ting on my carpet or something like that!

Hey thats great to hear.
Generial Mills treats there employees great.
I have heard great things about working there.
Plus that company is recession proof.
Glad to hear it...and its about time.

So what does a R&D Tech do?

Eat lucky charms all day?

I'm very happy for you.

Perseverance is the key to success.

Don't ever let somebody tell you you can't do it.

The hardest, actually easiest, thing I have done as a boss has been to encourage my employees to take better jobs when the opportunity came along. A rising tide lifts all boats.

That is a fact.

I can't tell you how many guys I have seen that get comfortable in a job, and won't stick thier neck out and try something new.

Now things have slowed down its the guys willing to take on better/harder jobs that are still around.

Guys with 25 years that did the same thing day in and day out are now collecting unemployment.

The guys that learned new skills took on harder jobs are the ones still collecting a pay check.

Nice Job man...

Now we can have the MN meet at your house!!!

thanks guys, I'm lookig forword to starting.

I won't be licking lucky charms for a liveing, I'm actully in the meat group developing new way of prossesing, storeing and healther meets for progresive soups and elsewhere meetis used in GM product. I'm excited because I get a desk, never had one before!

We still need to get together here real soon (before the snow flys) how about a BBQ at my place on wed Oct 21st?
