Great Forum - Quick Question regarding Nav Head Unit

First off, great forum, just joined. Have a question, maybe you can point me in the right direction. Have a 2004 LS with standard cd head unit. Want to replace it with the Nav Head Unit, but I'm not worried about the Navigation function itself working, just want it to work as a radio/cd player. Can I simply plug and play the Nav head unit in my car?
