I've been trying to track down a no start issue for a little over a week now. As I was putting the valve covers back on tonight I noticed a random green wire that was disconnected. I traced it and found that it came undone from a light gray connector that sits behind the drivers side head.

Can anyone tell me what this is? Could this cause the no start?

I'll apologize in advance if this has been covered because I did not search very thoroughly :(

That gray plug and green wire is part of the ignition system, just plug it back into the appropriate plug and you'll be fine. Don't let it ground out however, or you'll blow the COP fuse. If it stays disconnected it doesn't really hurt anything, again, as long as it isn't grounded out. Obviously, you'll want to check your COP fuses and make sure this isn't the problem.

sorry joegr...02 V8

The wire actually came undone from the plug so it's just hanging out bare. There's really nothing back there for it to touch but I'll be sure to check fuses.

Thanks guys!

Sorry, I don't have the 02 wire color guide.
