Grille and HID's

I am wanting to purchase eventually for my 94 Mark VIII a new Grille and HID's as were on the 96 LSC's. If anybody has a grille laying around, with all the vertical slats in place. And if anybody has the HID's let me know. I'm kinda on a budget so let me know how much your asking! --Brad

E-bay is a good place to find what your looking for. Be prepared tho, gen1 HIDs are going for BIG money.

I had a grille sitting in the grage, but I cut it apart to make my custom unit going on my 95. I could get you another from a salvage yard near me for around 75 bucks.


Hid's on the other hand.....Good luck.

I've seen the Mark VIII grills selling for $200 on ebay.

Mark VIII grilles are like finding the holy grail, every Mark I have encountered in the yards had the grilles swiped or were busted.

If you are on a budget, forget about HID's. Just save your money for new stock housings. Even they are expensive. Do not buy used, unless you know they are 1yr old or less. Otherwise they are just as worthless as yours.

if you're on a budget, don't bother with the headlights, just clean the lenses.
Then install driving lights behind the grill.

I second this notion....since this is what I did about 5 years ago, and every Mark VIII I have owned since then (running of course....LOL) I have done exactly the same thing.....until I could afford HID's. If you want to see the difference in the lighting you can click on my webshots linky at the bottom in my signature in this post and then click on Mark Info after you reach my webshots page....that should help a bit.
