Group buys?

I'm j/w with this but on other car forums I am on they have group buys to get a better deal on a part for your car. Have you guys ever done these on here? Because it seems like people want to do all sorts of stuff to their cars but some of the stuff might be a little too expensive for them. So are the vendors on here willing to give out discounts for group buys or is that a no-no here?
